Mount Merapi showed hot cloud avalanche (APG) eruption activity on Saturday (11/3/2023) at 12.12 WIB. The eruption eruption was about 7 kilometers (km) from the peak of Mount Merapi and headed southwest or Kali Bebeng and Krasak.

 Mount Merapi is one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia, located in the central part of Java Island.

 The height of Mount Merapi changes as volcanic activity affects the shape of its peak.
