A Glance at Sikidang Crater

 Sikidang Crater is an active volcanic crater on the Dieng plateau. According to research records, this crater was formed due to the remains of the eruption of Mount Perahu Tua several centuries ago.

 

 This crater is also one of the largest craters that you can find at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level in the Dieng area. There are several holes left by craters that were once active around this area that you can find.

 

 The surface temperature of this crater can reach 80 to 90 degrees Celsius. Around this area you can also find several natural hot spring pools that contain sulfur.
